Maker Closets, LLC (“Maker Closets,” “we,” “us”) builds custom closet systems in the DMV. This policy explains what information we collect on makerclosets.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it in plain language on purpose.

When you request a consultation through our website form, we collect what you provide: your name, phone number, email address, ZIP code, the type of space you are interested in, your preferred day and time, your message, and your consent choices.
Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure also records basic technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability. We do not use advertising cookies. If we adopt standard analytics tools to understand site usage, they will be configured for that purpose only.
How we use your information
We use your information to respond to your request, schedule and confirm your free consultation, prepare your design and quote, deliver and warranty our work, and communicate with you about your project. We do not use your information for unrelated purposes.
Text messages (SMS terms)
By opting into SMS through the separate, optional checkbox on our website form, you agree to receive text messages from Maker Closets. These are informational, customer care messages about your consultation, design, quote, and project, such as appointment confirmations, scheduling updates, and follow-ups. We do not send promotional or marketing texts.
Messaging frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. To opt out at any time, reply STOP. For assistance, reply HELP or visit makerclosets.com. Consent to receive texts is optional and is not a condition of purchasing anything from us.
What we share (and what we never share)
We do not sell or rent your personal information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in consent and phone numbers collected for SMS purposes are not shared with any third party.
We use a small number of service providers to operate our business, such as website hosting, email delivery, and our phone system. They process information only on our behalf and only to provide those services.
How long we keep information
We keep your information for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and project, honor our lifetime warranty, and meet legal and accounting requirements. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your choices
